Role overview

A growing cybersecurity company is looking for an ambitious Graduate Cyber Security Sales Executive to join its team in White City. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate who wants to begin a career in technology sales. You will receive training in cybersecurity products, business development and account management while working directly with prospective customers and senior decision-makers. Previous cybersecurity experience is not required. The company is looking for someone who communicates confidently, enjoys building relationships and is motivated by achieving commercial targets.

What you will do

  • Identify businesses that may benefit from the company's cybersecurity products and services
  • Research prospective customers, industries and market opportunities
  • Contact potential clients by telephone, email and LinkedIn
  • Arrange meetings and product demonstrations
  • Speak with business owners, IT teams and cybersecurity professionals
  • Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable solutions
  • Explain technical products in clear and accessible language
  • Build and manage a pipeline of sales opportunities
  • Prepare presentations, proposals and commercial documents
  • Maintain accurate records using the company's customer relationship management system
  • Work towards individual and team sales targets
  • Attend networking events, conferences and industry exhibitions
  • Support new customers through the onboarding process
  • Develop long-term relationships with clients and commercial partners

This role may be suitable for you if you have a degree in any subject or equivalent practical experience, strong written and verbal communication skills, confidence speaking with new people, an interest in cybersecurity, technology or business, good organisation and time-management skills, the ability to listen and understand customer needs, a professional approach to telephone, email and face-to-face communication, resilience and the confidence to handle rejection, an interest in working towards sales targets, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience gained through university societies, internships, retail, hospitality, fundraising, customer service or volunteering will be considered.
