Role overview
A private family office is looking for a highly organised, discreet and capable Graduate Executive Assistant to provide day-to-day support across business and personal matters. This is an excellent opportunity for a Mandarin-speaking graduate who wants to build a career in executive support, private office management or business operations. You will work closely with senior principals and support a wide range of activities, including diary management, travel, correspondence, meetings, research and administration. Fluency in Mandarin and English is essential, as the role involves regular communication with contacts in both the United Kingdom and Greater China.
What you will do
- Manage diaries, appointments and meeting schedules
- Coordinate United Kingdom and international travel arrangements
- Prepare itineraries, briefing notes and meeting materials
- Manage correspondence, emails and routine communications
- Communicate with Mandarin-speaking contacts, suppliers and business partners
- Translate and interpret between Mandarin and English where required
- Organise meetings, dinners, events and private appointments
- Conduct research and prepare concise summaries
- Maintain accurate records, documents and contact information
- Support expense management and general administration
- Liaise with professional advisers, businesses, household staff and external suppliers
- Assist with personal and family-related arrangements where required
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion

Who they are looking for
This role may be suitable for you if you speak Mandarin Chinese to fluent or native level, have excellent spoken and written English, and hold a degree in any subject or have equivalent experience. You will need strong organisation and time-management skills, excellent attention to detail, a professional and discreet approach, and the confidence to communicate with senior individuals. A calm and practical approach when plans change, good judgement with confidential information and strong Microsoft Office or Google Workspace skills are all important. Experience gained through internships, university societies, hospitality, customer service or administrative work will also be considered.
